November 2006 - Allcom is once again the proud to sponsor of the Hunter Valley Australian Telecommunications Users Group (ATUG) Gala Dinner and Awards Evening at Customs House, Newcastle on November 30th 2006.
The ATUG awards encourage and recognise the development of the telecommunications industry in regional Australia.
The Hunter Valley has seen enormous growth in information and communications technology jobs, with investment in quality training and research at the University of Newcastle, the Hunter Institute of Technology and other local institutions.
As a leading network solutions provider, Allcom has demonstrated a strong commitment to regional NSW.
Over the past year, Allcom has worked with NSW Department of State and Regional Development and NSW Department of Commerce to develop and document a telecommunications strategy for regional NSW.
This strategy compliments Allcom’s offices in the Hunter and Greater New England regions of NSW with a view to additional regional presences for Allcom.
