| Cisco Systems' Australian Premier IP Communications Partner of the Year |
June 2006 – Allcom has once again been recognised by Cisco Systems as the "Unified Communications Partner of the Year - Asia Pacific " at Cisco’s annual partner conference in Shanghai (June 2006). This is the sixth consecutive year Allcom has achieved recognition as the leading integrator of converged technologies in Australia, having also won the equivalent Asia Pac (IP Communications Partner of the Year) award in 2004. Allcom was also recognised as "Cisco Systems Services partner of the Year - Asia Pacific".
The recognition is an endorsement of Allcom’s determination to position itself as one of the key integration partners in emerging technologies in Australia. Having deployed it’s first IP phone in 2001, Allcom has developed extensive experience in designing, deploying and supporting IP networks and converged technologies.
The explosive growth of IP Communications in Australia was demonstrated by a recent report from Frost & Sullivan. Frost & Sullivan named Cisco Systems as the market leader in the Australian Enterprise Telephony market in Australia, with a 15.3 per cent market share in calendar year 2004 and a 19.1 per cent market share in the second quarter of calendar year, 2005.
Having been one of the original specialised IP Telephony partners in Australia, Allcom has developed industry recognition as one of the leading IP Communications and Converged Technologies providers in Australia across a diverse range of clients.
Receiving one regional award from Cisco Systems is considered by many leading integrators as their Holy Grail but at this year’s Asia Pacific Partner Summit Allcom Networks scooped the technology pool winning two of four of the most prestigious awards being offered - Cisco Systems Asia Pacific Unified Communications Partner of the Year 2006 as well as being named Cisco Systems Asia Pacific Services Partner of the Year 2006.
Having in previous years been named Unified Communications Partner of the Year in 2003/2004 and Premier Partner of the Year since 2001, Allcom is one of only a handful of Asia Pacific partners to have ever won multiple gongs.
Having embraced IP Telephony back in 2000 and living through the IP Communications era and now to the current Unified Communication specialisation, Allcom has learnt to blend best of breed technology practices with core business analysis. The services award is especially pleasing to Allcom management as this has been a core focus for the past 12 months and it is great to see the efforts of the Allcom team rewarded at such a prestigious level.
With the recent acknowledgement of Allcom’s convergence expertise becoming a Microsoft Gold Partner as well as a VMWARE VIP Enterprise partner and by formalising relationships with other vendors such as Citrix, APC and ARC solutions, the order is already in for a new trophy cabinet for 2007.
